Kenzo’s artistic directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have teamed up with the legendary Spike Jonze to create “My Mutant Brain,” a zany short film starring actress (and former dancer) Margaret Qualley. “Kenzo World,” the fragrance advertised in the film, was created by French perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.

Qualley, former star of The Nice Guys, sporadically jumps, leaps, and spins to the beat of Sam Spiegel and Ape Drums’ song “Mutant Brain.” Choreographed by Ryan Heffington, the genius behind Sia’s “Chandelier” video, the film is delightfully eccentric and energetic. The direction Jonze and the creative team at Kenzo chose to take is risky and exceptionally unique for a fragrance commercial, but was executed flawlessly. Bursting with vibrancy and charisma, Qualley successfully embodies Kenzo's expressive spirit, all while rocking a floor-length evening gown. Check it out below.
