After patiently waiting for director Sofia Coppola's big screen return since her 2013 film The Bling Ring, the trailer for her new feature The Beguiled—a remake of the 1971 movie starring Clint Eastwoodhas finally landed. Known for her more dreamy aesthetic and emphasis on character, diehard Coppola fanwill be pleased to see that she's stuck with her usual aesthetic with an added flare: the film appears to be a thriller.

Set during the Civil War-era at an all girls boarding school in the south, Nicole Kidman plays the school's headmistress, with Kirsten Dunst as a teacher, and Elle Fanning a student—with the three of them fighting for the affection and attention of Colin Farrell, an injured soldier they take in. It's clear the three leading ladies lose themselves in the pursuit of Farrell, and they seem to be a girl squad you don't want to mess with. The trailer ends with Farrell screaming, "What have you done to me, you vengeful bitches?"

The Beguiled is in theaters June 23.
