Last month, Troye Sivan and Martin Garrix surprised the crowd at Coachella teasing a brand new track, "There For You," and today it's been officially released. While a pop and EDM crossover is nothing new, this collaboration should come as even less of a surprise. Garrix's previous release, "Scared to Be Lonely," featured Dua Lipa, who opened for Sivan during his Suburbia tour last year.

Though the song's lyrics suggest a romantic relationship, Sivan took to Twitter to let his fans know it's all about them. "Not to be over dramatic but this song is in my eyes about you guys," adding, "you guys have been there, every step of the way. Got me through last year which was a crazy one."

Wasting no time, the two met up a week ago to film an accompanying music video that sees scenic shots of San Francisco. Clips from Garrix's show there are sprinkled throughout the video—as is the protocol for DJs, there is lots of jumping and plenty of lasers.

While an EDM track like this is perfect for parties, there will, hopefully, be an acoustic version release to this seriously heartfelt track. In the meantime, start your Memorial Day weekend early with "There For You," below.
