Days after announcing its official premiere date, Showtime has just released another teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated return of Twin Peaks. The new clip is as mysterious and Lynchian as you would expect, complete with eerie music, a lot of fog, and a gloomy road. Unlike the last teaser, this one features the return of a friendly face: Kyle MacLachlan, reprising his role as FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper. The premium network's president has said that the revival will be the “pure-heroin version of David Lynch,” referring to it as “Agent Dale Cooper's odyssey to Twin Peaks.”

Twin Peaks will premiere on May 21 with a special two-hour episode. If you haven't watched the original series, now's your chance (the whole thing is streaming on Netflix).
