What at first seemed like a rather paired down collection on further inspection proved to be just as wonderfully detailed and technical as the collections before it. Prada, as always, does not disappoint. This season saw a more technical take on separates, crop tops layered over shirts, marabou hemmed pants and skirts, and rubber velcro patches as clasps and buckles. The jewelry in contrast was big and gaudy, adding just the right amount of femininity to the looks.

While Miuccia typically takes an intellectual approach to her designs—often exploring the nature, and history, of femininity as it relates to aestheticism—for this collection, she opted to focus on simply making clothes that were elegant, made for the modern woman without too much introspection, while still maintaining the house's signature use of highly contrasted pairings. The result is a collection that is understatedly and undeniably beautiful.
