It’s no secret by now that the ‘90s are back—especially for the babies of the ‘80s that can actually remember them! The major fashion houses have been having a Flashback Friday moment for a few seasons now, one look at the towering heels at Marc Jacobs Fall 2017 collection and visions of Naomi Campbell’s infamous 1993 Vivienne Westwood runway collapse immediately come to mind. A casual scroll through Instagram guarantees a variable display of choker necklaces and yellow-smiley-face-strewn crop tops.

With all of this nostalgia in the fashion realm, I can’t help but think back to my version of the '90s, a time when glittery stickers were a premium purchase; having a lava lamp made my room seem complete and I couldn’t wait until the day I would have a cell phone of my own so that I, too, could master Snake. Nothing better epitomizes this relationship between nostalgia and technology than a modern-day smartphone case illustrating some of the popular items of days gone by. Cue this '90s Pins on Denim iPhone Case from Casetify. Even though now I may be using my cell phone for the professional emails and calendar reminders that come with (gulp) adulthood, I can always flip to the lighthearted drawings on the back for a momentary reminder of a time when computers were candy-colored and Capri Sun was the drink of choice.

Bonus: When you inevitably grow out of the ’90s (again) the case artwork is interchangeable with any of the site’s other designs. Plus, if you want something a little more wearable, these pins from Laser Kitten (in the slideshow below) are the identical designs to those on the case—stick them on your overall straps for a very ‘Kimmy Gibbler from Full House feel.

Casetify's '90s Pins on Denim iPhone Case is available now for $40 on casetify.com
