Who are your musical icons?

Kate Bush, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, and Prince.

What was the first album you purchased?

Rhythm Nation by Janet Jackson.

Which artists are you listening to right now?

Mr. Tophat, David Bowie, Floor Plan, Gas, Zhala.

My favorite part about touring would have to be…

Being around people I love all day and seeing new places.

How would you describe your style?

Sporty undercover femme in the disco with Tourettes.

Do you ever get nervous before going on stage?

Not anymore. It’s nice, I can be more subtle now. I’m practicing looking inside myself while I’m performing. I think it’s nice for the audience when the person on the stage is comfortable enough to be vulnerable.

The best thing about being a performer is…

I enjoy making something that I think can pull the audience into an emotional state of being for a little while. I’m a fire starter, I like getting lost in the music together with the crowd.
