The 1975 surprised crowds at the Parklife festival on Saturday by paying tribute to the victims of last month's bombing during an Ariana Grande show at Manchester Arena. The band brought out Manchester's mayor, Andy Burnham, as well as those who responded to the emergency calls that night. “We’ve all spent a lot of time mourning, since what happened,” 1975 frontman Matt Healy told the crowd. “But this is a music festival and we’ve had a lot of silence. Now, we’ve decided we don’t wanna have a moment of silence. We want to do a moment of noise.”
