If you've been paying attention to anything Olympics-related, you'd be hard pressed to miss the official anthem of this year's games: Katy Perry's "Rise." The stirring track first released on July 15 with an incredibly emotional montage video showing footage of players past to amp up the world for this year's competition. Ever since, we've been waiting for the pop star to release the music video to feed our ambitious spirits—and it's finally here.

In the video, Perry gives it her all as she fights the elements to overcome adversity in the form of a tattered and torn parachute that literally wears her down. She puts blood, sweat, and tears into her fight to turn her entrapment into strength. There's no telling how we'd fair if we were thrown into a desert with no one to save us but ourselves, but Perry makes us believe anything is possible. "Rise" is yet another track to add to Perry's extensive list of power songs, joining the ranks of "Firework" and "Roar" as motivational anthems.
