As we get closer to the highly anticipated release of Joanne (can October 21 come any sooner?), Lady Gaga decided to tease us even more by debuting three new songs from the album live last night in Nashville, as part of the first stop of her mini Dive Bar Tour.

Close to 10:30 last night, Gaga casually drove up to The 5 Spot, a tiny dive bar in East Nashville, greeting fans and strutting up to the bar’s tiny stage as if she was the featured cover singer taking requests for the night. Decked out in a rhinestoned cowgirl jacket, cut-off shorts, and a countrified pink Joanne hat, Gaga began the four-song set with a rendition of her Father John Misty collaboration, “Sinner’s Prayer,” a slow-burning Western rock cut with heavy bass and an irresistible groove.

In between songs, the superstar made just one request. "If you could do me this favor," she asked, "Tonight if you could just call me ‘Joanne.'" The rousing “A-Yo” followed, a sassy and flashy rocker that exudes pure unfiltered attitude, seemingly tailored to be the perfect party starter.

For the debut of “Million Reasons,” Joanne was joined by one of the song's co-writers, famed country songwriter Hillary Lindsey, on backup harmonies. The country-influenced ballad is an absolute stunner, putting her powerful vocals at the forefront as she experiences an emotional catharsis of sorts. It’s the stirring soulful cousin to “Perfect Illusion,” which naturally closed the set, complete with Joanne slaying the microphone swing like it’s nobody’s business once again.

Later that night, the Lady took to iTunes and streaming services to enable fans to pre-order Joanne and listen to the studio version of “Million Reasons,” which plays just as intimate and gorgeous as it does live. Listen to the track below.
