Hollywood sadcore queen Lana Del Rey brought her special brand of pop to the BBC Radio 1 stage for the broadcaster's annual  Big Weekend Festival. "It's been too long, I'm so excited to be with you guys today," Lana told the crowd as she took the stage.

The singer has been all over the news as of late, from dropping her new video for title track "Lust For Life" with frequent collaborator The Weeknd to the announcement of her duet "Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems" with rock legend Stevie Nicks. With all the excitement surrounding her, the performance was undoubtedly one of her most energetic.

The set consisted of a medley of songs from Born to Die ("Video Games, "Off to the Races"), Ultraviolence ("Cruel World"), and upcoming album Lust For Life ("Cherry," "Lust For Life"). Using backup singers and dancers, as well as vintage film projections behind her, Del Rey's performance was bolstered as much by stunning visuals as it was the haunting guitar that pervades most of her music.

Lust For Life is slated for a July 21st release. Watch Lana Del Rey take the stage for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend Festival below.
