Gear up for the newest superhero—or super heroine movie. Following the much anticipated, unfortunately, quite a flop of Suicide Squad, comic books fans and admirers of attractive humans doing unbelievable things are looking to Gal Gadot to bring to life the iconic heroine of the Justice League in the new feature film Wonder Woman.

In the two and a half minute trailer, narration reads, “I used to want to save the world. This beautiful place. But the closer you get, the more you see the great darkness within.” The quote could not come at a more relevant time. With a mere four days until the upcoming election, most of America can agree, whichever candidate they support, that the world is in a state of reconstruction.

Gal Gadot is no stranger to the role. Born in Israel, she found success in modeling which brought her to the Miss Universe pageant in 2004—still awaiting Trump’s comment on that one. Gadot also spent approximately two years in the Israeli army, said to be one of the most physically and mentally demanding armies in the world, where she trained and was taught an extensive knowledge in weaponry. Her natural comfort around weapons and ability to properly use them actually landed her the role of Gisele in The Fast and The Furious series. She attended law school, rides motorcycles, has a daughter, and is an Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls by the United Nations.

Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins and co-stars Chris Pine and Robin Wright. The movie hits theaters June 2, 2017.
