Zendaya has managed to make a successful transition from young child star into an intelligent and spunky fashion risk-taker, giving her a mature and savvy reputation in the industry while still keeping true to her Disney credentials. It was only a matter of time until the burgeoning artist made her foray into design, and the time has finally arrived.

Today, Zendaya unveiled pieces from her debut clothing line, Daya by Zendaya. The line, developed with her longtime stylist Law Roach, features a range of essential basics like sleek button-up blouses and leather shorts along with head-turning statement pieces akin to what the star is known for, like velvet jumpsuits and longline jackets adorned with fun patches.

On how to sport the varying looks, Zendaya tells Vogue, “You can choose to wear the black velvet blazer and trouser together, or wear them with whatever the hell you want."

One of the duo’s goals was for the line to be as accessible to women as possible. Every piece is available in sizes 0-22, with prices ranging from $18 to $160. The duo also opted out of teaming up with a retailer and decided to sell the line directly to customers on a new e-commerce platform launching this week.

The entire line will be available for purchase this Friday, but you can take a sneak peek of some pieces below.
