How huge is huge? Taschen celebrates the release of The Big Penis Book

If we had a dollar for every random guy who professed to being in the new Taschen tome The Big Penis Book at the launch party in West Hollywood last week, then let's just say we would have enough to buy several of the phallic-shaped piñata's adorning the window display of local boutiques Alpha Male and Coco de Mer, both of which co-hosted the event. Photographers Ed Fox and David Hurles mingled with fans indulging in the occasional wiener served by near-naked staff as Alpha Male co-founder Christos Garkinos greeted guests at the door offering porn star name tags. Meanwhile director Brett Ratner had another agenda in mind: being the first in line to have his copy signed by world-famous porn star and Penis Book cover model Chad Hunt. It wasn't all testosterone, however, as in walked the lady of the hour, editor Dian Hanson (whose prior project with Taschen was the phenomenally successful Big Book of Breasts). Hanson went ahead and spilled the beans on her next collaborative effort with the publishing house: "It's a topic I know a lot about with a beautiful aesthetic: legs!" she cooed. "Though it won't sell quite as well as this. Then again, nothing will ever sell as well as this."
