V'S FAVORITE TERRIBLE TWENTYSOMETHING CHANNELS HER INNER MICHAEL JORDAN IN THE GLITTERING, GLAMOROUS CLIP FOR MIKE WILL MADE IT'S "23"
It's no secret that we have a soft spot for Miley Cyrus. This year has shown the young pop star come into her own as provocateur, pixie-haired party animal, and now, in the Mike WiLL Made-It video for his debut single "23" (also featuring Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J), Miley shows off her chops as a female rapper.
"I'm in the club, high on purp, with some shades on / Tatted up, miniskirt, with my J's on" she raps, like the white girl version of Lil Wayne. Though she may not be from Chicago, Miley might be able to relate to Mr. Jordan's prowess as the best in the league. This summer has seen Miley's "We Can't Stop" break VEVO viewing records and her follow-up balled "Wrecking Ball" soar to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Of course, her VMA performance, lighthearted but slightly risque, STILL has tongues wagging (pun intended) weeks after the fact. Now, in the clip directed by Hannah Lux Davis and Mike WiLL Made-It and styled by Haley Wollens, Miley shows off her famous body in looks by Versus and Chanel while also wearing custom-made Jordan jersey dresses.
Will "23" keep Miley in the meme cycle and on top of the charts? Is 2013 the year of the Cyrus? Watch and let us know what you think!
