Kate Moss Launches Eyescapes
The supermodel just dropped her first merch line.
Kate Moss has launched her own merch line, titled “Eyescapes” after photographer Rankin’s 2013 series. The featured image was captured by Rankin in 2012 and called “Eyescape Kate.”
Of the model, Rankin said, “Kate is quite aloof…which makes her even more compelling for the camera. It’s exciting. She can just stare through the lens, and it’s enigmatic and charged.”
In the line are two hoodies, one black and one white, with Moss’ golden and green iris printed across the back. The long sleeve shirts follow the same design with synched cuffs and a “drop shoulder style.” Also available is a black tote bag with the same image.
Moss’ new clothing line, headed by her and her daughter Lila, has a distinct focus on sustainable production. The garments are made using ethically sourced and 100% organic cotton. They are also produced in a factory in Tiruppur, India, a site close to where the materials are found. Products are shipped out in recyclable packaging, and tags are made using waste material collected during production.
Prices of the garments range between 20 to 90 pounds and can be found on the KM Agency website.
