Dior’s Latest Campaign Honors History

The new collection is a fresh take on femininity as classic House codes meet a contemporary vision

Luxury is made simple in Dior’s Fall 2022 campaign, a dialogue between the fashion house’s history and its relation to the modern world. Maria Grazia Chiuri takes a visionary approach to the new line, which balances power, femininity, and innovation.

A series of group portraits through the lens of South African photographer Alice Mann depicts confident feminism, highlighting important subjects in Monsieur Dior’s success including sister Catherine, muse Mizza Bricard, and longtime collaborator Marguerite Carré.

A streamlined, subdued approach to everyday fashion comes a collection bound by sisterhood and inspired by uniformity. Classic Dior burlap bags and the recognizable Dior Book Tote meet skirts and jackets adorned with the motto “L’union fait la force” (“Strength through unity”). Lady D-Joy, Lady Dior, Dior Vibe, and Diorcamp all make appearances in the campaign, an unmistakable essence of Dior’s style.

Collective, experimental, and confident, the new campaign highlights the power of togetherness and propels Dior into a modern world of feminine power.
