This is BVLGARI like you’ve never seen before.

BVLGARI, the official jewelry sponsor of the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, had its feature documentary Inside the Dream debut at this year’s festival on September 12th. Following the highly-anticipated worldwide TIFF premiere, the film—which happens to be “the first-ever high jewelry behind-the-scenes-movie”—will be released worldwide on Amazon Prime Video in approximately 100 countries the following day.

Produced by Parisian production company Terminal9 Studios and directed by emerging talent Matthieu Menu, Inside the Dream follows the story of the now-iconic green emerald BVLGARI necklace worn by actress Zendaya at the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of her sci-fi thriller film, Dune.

From the 93.83-carat Colombian emerald sourcing in India to its artisanal crafting in Rome, and finally, its reveal to the world through the ultimate red-carpet moment, gracing the neck of one of Hollywood’s latest and greatest cinema sirens, the film follows the entire journey from start to finish of the stunning natural wonder. The film also follows BVLGARI’s Creative Director Lucia Silvestri, as she opens up on how she navigates her way in the industry as being one of few women in the male-dominated world of gem sourcing.

Starring Zendaya herself alongside other BVLGARI women like K-Pop sensation and V138 cover star Lalisa, actress Priyanka Chopra, and model Lily Aldrige, the film highlights the craftsmanship and care exemplified by the BVLGARI team as they built a one-of-a-kind necklace around the exceptionally rare emerald, while also giving viewers insight into the BVLGARI design process.
