The European Music Awards (EMA) happened this past weekend in Dusseldorf, Germany, and saw stars from around the globe come together to celebrate some of the biggest names and moments in European music.
As usual, American, European, and global superstars strutted the red carpet in their best designer dresses and outfits. Vintage, custom, and fresh off the runway were on the table at this year’s event, which was hosted by Rita Ora and her multi-hyphenate boyfriend Taika Watiti.
This year red carpet seemed to highlight some more niche designers along with the usual big-name fashion houses, but we learned big-name doesn’t always mean “big slay” as some of the best dressed were from smaller brands.
