On Thursday, December 5, Cartoon Network (CN) and Depop presented Exhibition Two, an exhibition by artist Slumpy Kev at Art Basel Miami. The exhibition featured a collection of nine varieties of Slumpy Kev’s work featuring everyone’s favorite Cartoon Network characters such as The Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd & Eddy, and Courage the Cowardly Dog. 

The exhibition also featured a collection of limited-edition merchandise, that is available to purchase on the artist’s Depop account (@slumpykev).

“Exhibition Two is about making something inaccessible feel accessible allowing people to join a community they couldn’t be a part of normally,” the artist explained. “My art is inspired by the journey it took to get to this point in my career. These characters influenced my personality and I’m most excited to show my supporters how versatile I am.” 

The artist has come a long way since he first started his career in 2017, creating hand-painted pieces of his favorite cartoons on clothing and miscellaneous objects, with his first public exhibition that happened during Frieze LA. For now, who put together an exclusive photo diary for VMAN.
