Dukes Cupboard Captures Vintage Tees in ’90s-Inspired Campaign

The vintage store is releasing a collection of rare art T-shirts in the near future.

For its latest editorial shoot, London-based vintage store Dukes Cupboard captured its collection of rare art T-shirts through a ’90s-inspired aesthetic. Lensed by Emma Williams, the seven-look campaign features model Sam Roberts sporting these graphic designs; each one taps into the Grunge look of the ’90s mixed with paintings from some of the world’s most revered artists. The incorporation of grainy techniques and overlaid imagery also convey the retro essence of the decade in which these vintage shirts were designed.

Dukes Cupboard highlights several of its rarest pieces for this editorial, including Vincent Van Gogh’s A Starry Night, Pablo Picasso’s Three Musicians, and a quote from Paul Cézanne: “Don’t be an art critic, paint.”

These vintage treasures will drop soon on Dukes Cupboard’s Instagram and website, so be on the lookout for these limited releases. View the campaign for Duke Cupboard’s art T-shirt collection below:
