“TrapHouseJazz” music artist Masego released a new single, “Mystery Lady,” to keep the fall-into-winter musical vibe going strong. The song also features a guest verse by rapper Don Toliver.

“Mystery Lady” is a smooth and crisply produced track that blends a heavier trap percussion with a more R&B and jazz flair. The vocal layering, in particular, gives the song an almost ethereal feel, simulating the experience of performing with a backing choral group. The track is a flirty ode to a woman of the artist’s dreams and the ode he’d pen for her.

The song was released with a visualizer that features shots of Masego with his lady love in a wooded swampy area. The video goes back-and-forth through shots of the artist in the water and with his love interest, in what looks like a most comfortable pair of silk pyjamas.

“Mystery Lady” is the third and final single off Masego’s upcoming EP, Studying Abroad, the follow-up to 2018’s Lady Lady, his debut record. The EP comes out on November 13, and will feature previous singles “Passport” and “Silver Tongue Devil.”
