The R&B-dedicated Lights On Festival was first introduced in 2019. The Bay Area edition, which is set to take place on September 18-19 and is already sold out, will also feature a film screening tent, live art installations, R&B Museum, and Guitar Lounge, along with additional rides and attractions.
Earlier this year, H.E.R. took home two Grammy Awards – Song of the Year for her protest anthem “I Can’t Breathe” and Best R&B Song for her participation in “Better Than I Imagined.” The artist also won the Best Original Song award at the Oscars for “Fight For You,” written for Judas and the Black Messiah.
Tickets for Brooklyn’s Lights On Festival will go on sale on Friday, July 23 at 10 a.m. ET. via Ticketmaster. Learn more about the festival on LightsOnFest.com.
