The day is finally here – after two months of slowly unveiling the soundtrack for Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” film, the blockbuster has arrived in theaters – along with the remaining tracks on the long-awaited soundtrack. But the Barbie-mania doesn’t end with the official soundtrack – in a fitting tribute to the film’s star, Bryce Vine even released a brand-new track called “Margot Robbie.” And from new releases from Slayyyter and Beabadobee to rising pop girls Rosie Darling and Celia, it’s clear this week is full of Barbie energy – so go add these tracks to your playlist to embody the all pink perfection!

HAIM, “Home”

Between new tracks from Sam Smith, Khalid, Tame Impala, and even an Indigo Girls cover from Brandi Carlile, Barbie-goers have a lot of new content to consume on the film’s release day. But one track in particular stands out from the pack – “Home” by HAIM. Though not as melancholy as Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?,” the trio of sisters harmonize on an equally contemplative refrain – “Home is a symphony and it’s bittersweet when it’s calling me / Just another river deep, flowing to an ocean / I know that I may never know the future, unpredictable / A hundred choices led me here, lessons learned with every tear / They take me home.”

Ethel Cain, “Famous Last Words (An Ode to Eaters)”

Ethel Cain posted her fan-favorite track “Famous Last Words” on SoundCloud last year – but today, the song was officially released as the first single from Givenchy creative director Matthew Williams’ new collaboration project “1017 ALYX 9SM” along with a music video directed by Hayden Anhedönia (Ethel Cain) herself. Inspired by the Lucas Guadagnino film Bones and All, the song marks Cain’s first official release since her critically-acclaimed concept album Preacher’s Daughter last year. Her hauntingly beautiful voice echoes “You were the one I’d come looking for / Over and over and over again” with that uniquely addicting quality unmatched by any other artist.

beabadoobee, “the way things go”

Alt-pop sensation beabadoobee is back with her latest single “the way things go” – a rumination on the events of her life thus far that have culminated in her current reality, ultimately finding acceptance and even comfort. The sonically beautiful track is paired with equally stunning visuals in the music video directed by Jacob Erland featuring gorgeous ballerinas and intricate Renaissance-era details.

Bryce Vine, “Margot Robbie”

In 2017, Bryce Vine burst into the music scene with his double-platinum single “Drew Barrymore,” idealizing his love interest and comparing her to the iconic actress. Now, he’s back with a new track starring the one and only Margot Robbie – just in time for “Barbie” to open in theaters. “Margot Robbie” is just further proof that Robbie is undoubtedly the woman of the hour, but as the film’s tagline goes, the A-List actress has always been “everything.” 

Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, & The Weeknd, “K-POP”

Three of the music industry’s biggest superstars – Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, and The Weeknd – have come together for a long-awaited collaboration. Fans can finally hear the long-awaited first taste of Scott’s upcoming fourth studio album UTOPIA. The track simultaneously showcases Scott’s evolution as an artist while also standing as a testament to his ability to seamlessly join forces with just about anyone. 

Slayyyter, “Miss Belladonna”

Rising pop trailblazer Slayyyter is set to drop her second studio album STARFUCKER this fall – exploring themes of fame and celebrity obsession in Hollywood. But ahead of its release, the superstar just released the project’s second single “Miss Belladonna,” giving fans a glimpse into her latest era. With an addictive pop melody and her extravagant Hollywood persona in keeping with the album’s theme, this track is a must-listen. 

Michaël Brun, “FAMI SUMMER”

Haitian producer Michaël Brun released his three-track new EP just in time for summer – complete with catchy hooks and a star-studded list of features on each track, FAMI SUMMER is the perfect addition to your playlist. In particular, the first single “Jessica” even features a verse from Colombian superstar J Balvin. Rosie Darling, “Boxes”

Boston-born, LA-based rising indie-pop star Rosie Darling holds nothing back on her latest soul-bearing track “Boxes.” The deeply personal heartbreak ballad will be featured on her forthcoming debut LP later this year along with “Lost On You” and “Justify,” chronicling a relationship’s end with her signature vivid lyricism and stunningly soft vocals. Rosie’s journey as an artist both personally and professionally centers around embracing and leaning into growth, change, and evolution – themes anyone can relate to.

Celia, “Studio Rat (I can’t always be what you want)”

Emerging singer-songwriter Celia is back with her latest single “Studio Rat (I can’t always be what you want),” lamenting about the draining nature of conforming to societal expectations and arriving at a state of self-acceptance.
