Creating a complex dialogue between the past and present, Ferragamo has combined the spirit of the Renaissance period with modern-day luxury to craft a thoughtful and innovative collection and newly debuted campaign done in partnership with the Uffizi Gallery for the house’s Autumn-Winter 2023 collection, shot by Tyler Mitchell.

Under Maximilian Davis’s creative direction, the latest shoes, accessories, and ready-to-wear for the Italian fashion house are shown alongside iconic artworks from the 15th and 16th centuries. Ferragamo’s evolution to embrace its Florentine roots and culture mimics the rebirth that the founder, Salvatore Ferragamo, experienced after moving from Italy to the United States.

Suits, outerwear, leather goods, and shoes are displayed in front of renowned pieces from artists like Botticelli, Giovanni Bellini, and Alesso Baldovinetti. To craft the mise en scene, a mix of models and creatives was cast for the campaign. Seasoned models like Vittoria Ceretti, Anok Yai, and Lina Zhang show off the collection with singer/songwriter Kelela, sound artist Yasmina Dexter, and creative consultant Zainab Jama.

Inspired by the golden age of Florence, Ferragamo imagines a 21st-century revival of the classics through sophisticated accessories, elegant clothing, and a tastefully contemporary collection.
