In a night sure to rule our For You Page and Instagram feed for days, the ‘Pink’ runway was decked out in every lingerie-clad celebrity you can think of. With the goal to “uplift and champion women on a global scale”, this re-launch comes after VS canceled their 2019 show due to low viewership.
The pink event featured a guest list ranging from the likes of Brooke Shields, Naomi Osaka, Winnie Harlow, Remi Bader, Olivia Ponton, Alix Earle, Renee Rapp, Priyanka Chopra, and Doja Cat.
With performances by special guests, Doechii and Goyo, everyone was kept entertained until the big unveiling of the night: the soon-to-be-released feature about the hand-selected VS20. The Tour reimagines the VS Fashion Shows we know and recognize, and instead tells the journeys’ of twenty global creatives who are making their mark on the fashion world right now. The creatives are all from different backgrounds and have different talents in an effort by Victoria’s Secret to more widely reflect the experience and perspective of all women. The show follows these twenty artists as they create four carefully curated looks from each of the four cities: Bogota, Lagos, London, and Tokyo.
The film, available to stream on September 26th, will feature special performances from Sabrina Carpenter and Doja Cat. In collaboration with Prime Video, the show will debut on Amazon streaming platforms and to follow it up, a Tour-inspired collection that can be found on Victoria’s Secret Amazon Storefront, or VictoriasSecret.com.
