Six years since his last appearance on Saturday Night Live, Travis Scott has returned to the late-night show’s stage in some serious style, of course. Would we expect anything else?

Taking place on March 30th, alongside comedian and actor Ramy Youssef‘s debut SNL hosting appointment, the American musician extraordinaire served as the evening’s musical guest, performing two of his buzziest tracks “MY EYES” and “FE!N.”

With “MY EYES” opening to a monolith-esque stage design and “FE!N” taking viewers through an elemental visual journey, we see Travis donning enviable stage looks, with both the stage design and outfits done by none other than Rick Owens, designed especially for Scott by the minds of Owens and Michèle Lamy through Owenscorp. In the “FE!N” performance, Travis is seen wearing a full leather one-piece jumpsuit, paired with matching gloves, while in “MY EYES”, Travis dons graphic track shorts paired with a slate-colored structured blazer, hoodie, and tech gloves for an added edge.

In sync with the highly anticipated performance, Scott debuted the official music video for his track “FE!N” featuring Playboy Carti. The global fan favorite song got a unique visual treatment, done by director Gabriel Moses, as the hypnotic video gave listeners a peek into the chaotically artistic mind of the musician and seemingly immersed them into another world (or another utopia, one should say.)

Scott’s SNL performance comes after a whirlwind of a year with the summer 2023 release of his fourth studio album, UTOPIA. Going on to become the biggest-selling hip hop album of the year, the rapper completed a sold-out stadium area tour in North America soon after its release titled the “UTOPIA CIRCUS MAXIMUS TOUR”, and even unveiled his CIRCUS MAXIMUS tour film in select AMC Theatres nationwide in the same year.
