“Drama!” “Night.” “Stubborn.” “Dreamer.” “Lace.” Told through the lens of the Maison’s The Gucci Portrait Series, a diverse collective of forty-two individuals offers intimate glimpses into their personal stories and perspectives.
The humanity of portraiture is highlighted through the Fall/Winter 2025 garments, revealing the intimacy of the relationship between person and garment. Photographer Catherine Opie paints a raw mosaic of identity, seizing the subtle moments of selfhood—the squeeze of a handbag’s strap, the way one chooses to put their hand in their pocket, the nature of their body language.

Clothing transcends fabric and form, serving as a framework for individuality to emerge—inviting introspection rather than performance. Through repetition, variation unfolds, and from variation, identity.
The campaign echoes Gucci’s foundational codes of Italian effortless, channeling the enduring spirit of sprezzatura. Central to the Fall/Winter 2025 collection, the imperfect stylings also speak to the identity of the past, present, and future of the Gucci House.
This exploration extends into a series of intimate videos directed by Lisa Rovner, where cast members respond candidly to open-ended questions, offering moments of humor, reflection, and memory, unguarded glimpses that linger not as answers, but as the feeling of truly being seen.
