In honor of Charli xcx’s game-changing album Brat, Converse has launched a customizable “By You” experience, letting fans design their own pair of beat-up, Brat-coded Chuck Taylors. The silhouette—Charli’s go-to—is the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star, complete with scuffed canvas, worn laces, and A LOT of attitude.

Available in black, white, and muted monochromes like Winter Sky and Brown Rice, the sneakers feature printed rips and discoloration to mimic Charli’s real-life worn-down Chucks. A trompe-l’œil technique gives each pair that perfectly trashed look—minus the breaking-in period. There’s even a burnished sole and weathered laces to match.

But it wouldn’t be a Charli collab without a few lyrical Easter eggs. Fans can opt for outsole graphics reading “Party Girl” or “Brat,” license plate patches with “XCX” or “365,” and heel charms etched with “Brat” and “Unlock It”, small references to the tracks that built the album’s bratty universe.

The Converse x Charli xcx “By You” experience launches August 5 at 10 AM EDT on Converse.com (US + Western Europe). Pre-built styles drop in Mexico the same day, and in Australia starting August 6.
