Find Your Joy with Marc Jacobs

V spotlights the house’s collaborative ‘Joy’ collection, which ushers in a trio of artists—David Shrigley, Hattie Stewart, and Derrick Adams—on the coolest girls of the season

In the latest chapter of its global JOY program, Marc Jacobs brings JOY around the world this season with its new artist capsule collection.

No stranger to the world of collaborations, Jacobs tapped three dynamic artists in the realm of contemporary art: Derrick Adams, David Shrigley and Hattie Stewart. Spanning a wide range of ready-to-wear and accessories to covetable items from a skateboard to electric guitar, the three artist’s work is seen splash across special items from the JOY collection, fusing Shrigley’s witty, banana print, and Adams’ vibrant geometries, and Stewart’s pop-surrealist floral characters for a renewed sense of optimism for the fall.

HATTIE STEWART

Based in London, Hattie Stewart is an artist and illustrator whose unmistakably bold, cheeky style blurs the lines between art, design, and fashion. Her work bursts with color, personality, and a sense of mischief that’s become her signature across creative industries.

DAVID SHRIGLEY

David Shrigley is known for his offbeat drawings, neon texts, and animations that blend cartoon aesthetics with dry, absurdist humor. His work playfully skewers the everyday, capturing the strange in the mundane.

DERRICK ADAMS

Derrick Adams is a Brooklyn-based visual and performance artist, curator, and educator whose work explores the richness and complexity of Black identity in America. Drawing from the visual language of contemporary Black culture—its patterns, symbols, and everyday rituals— Adams creates vibrant, multilayered pieces that challenge and celebrate perception.
