“Ritorni” Marks the Beginning of a Post-Armani Era

As Emporio embraces a new era, the women’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection honors Giorgio Armani’s codes while suggesting the outlines of a new future
Titled Ritorni (“Returns”), the Emporio Armani Spring/Summer 2026 collection carries an inevitable emotional weight as the first to be shown following the passing of Giorgio Armani. More than a seasonal presentation, it is a tribute to the founder’s legacy and a meditation on the fleeting sensations of journeys and homecomings.
Marked by elongated silhouettes, neutral tones, and an ongoing dialogue between masculine and feminine. These are signatures of Armani style, but here refracted through the Emporio lens with a global spirit. Ikat fabrics, kimono fastenings, obi belts, and raffia crochet caps recalled distant places, before being softened into a contemporary urban wardrobe of jackets, duster coats, parkas, pyjamas, jumpsuits, and abbreviated skirts.

Wide trousers narrowed at the ankle, and waistcoats came in multiple variations, while ultra-light nylon evening wear emphasized airiness and ease of wear. From beige to black, through mineral grey and cool neutrals, the palette conveyed Armani’s gift for making elegance look effortless, refined without excess, discreet yet playful enough to intrigue.
In the absence of Giorgio Armani, Ritorni resonated as a farewell and a beginning. The collection will be remembered as a deeply symbolic return to the essence of Armani at the very moment of moving beyond him.
