Louis Vuitton Chronicles 130 Years of Monogram Icons in New Global Campaign

Classic bags are reimagined through the eyes of the House’s starry ambassadors

Louis Vuitton traces a lineage stitched in Monogram canvas to celebrate its 130th anniversary. In the latest campaign, global icons bring a selection of the House’s most esteemed bags to life through a series of personal stories that merge ownership and companionship.

House Ambassador Zendaya invites her energetic lifestyle into conversation with the Speedy, a bag conceived in the 1930s as compact soft luggage. Its supple form and wide zip closure signify the spirit of a generation on the move.

Catherine Deneuve pairs her legendary acting career with the Alma’s timeless poise. Introduced in 1992 and rooted in the House’s Art Deco-inspired Squire lineage, the bag showcases rounded Toron handles and a curved base, uniting architectural heritage with contemporary artistry.

House Ambassador Liu Yifei captures the carefree spirit of the Noé, originally designed in 1932 to carry champagne bottles. The soft leather tote combines a drawstring closure with a fluid silhouette, balancing lightness and durability.

The same blend of utility and style continues with House Ambassador Hoyeon, who lends a modern sensibility to the Neverfull, first launched in 2007. Inspired by Louis Vuitton’s earliest carry-alls, the ultra-lightweight design features hand-stitched handles, adjustable side laces, and a striped textile lining inspired by vintage trunks.
