Altagamma & The Icons of Italy
The foundation is bringing the best of Italy to your neighborhood

There is a degree of attention that a well-made thing commands; an involuntary pause, or a slowing of pace. Commonly felt it in front of a perfectly proportioned chair, the curve of a sports car fender, or in the weight of a crystal glass.

From April 9th through the 11th, Icons of Italy — an initiative organized by Altagamma, the cultural foundation representing Italy’s high-end industries, is transforming retail into cultural exhibitions. Fashion houses from Prada and Gucci to Santoni and Canali open their doors to curated presentations and immersive experiences that have shaped lifestyles worldwide, bringing the highest expression of Italian artistry to your neighborhood.

The timing is not accidental. The event opens just days before April 15, the Made-in-Italy National Day, celebrating the birth of none other than Leonardo da Vinci. Leonardo, who sketched flying machines and who saw no contradiction between engineering and beauty, remains the most complete embodiment of the Italian creative ideal, where the boundaries between disciplines are purely hurdles to hop.

Visitors are invited to embark on a journey across the Venetian canals, straight into the heart of the icons of Italy.
