Havaianas Introduces the Kitten Heel at Copenhagen Fashion Week

The iconic Brazilian brand expands with a new silhouette
Havaianas debuted its first heeled silhouette at Copenhagen Fashion Week, expanding the brand’s design vocabulary with quiet confidence. The Kitten Heel, shown across 25 looks on Studio Constance’s Spring/Summer 2027 runway, pairs a low asymmetric heel with Havaianas’ recognizable toe-post. Available in black, off-white, and vibrant green, the shoe keeps the brand’s signature rubber insole while introducing something a bit more elevated.
The collection merged Havaianas’ Brazilian identity with Studio Constance’s contemporary Scandinavian style, a pairing that felt natural. Rather than abandon what made the brand distinctive, the new silhouette simply extended it, proving that evolution doesn’t require reinvention.

Beyond the runway, the activation showed a brand growing more comfortable in fashion spaces. Livia Nunes, a leading figure in Brazilian fashion, was spotted throughout Copenhagen on a customized Havaianas bicycle with Kitten Heels replacing the traditional pedals.
An evening event at Green Island brought together creators, journalists, and international fashion figures. Brazilian music filled the harbor-side space while elevated installations framed the brand’s new chapter. A jewelry-design customization activation with Alan Crocetti shaped the evening around the brand’s “Taking New Heights” narrative, letting guests engage directly with the product.

Havaianas didn’t attempt a luxury overhaul or stray from what it does well. Instead, it asked a straightforward question—what happens if you take this shoe and scale it up?—and delivered a coherent answer. The Kitten Heel signals a brand secure enough to explore new silhouettes and occasions while holding onto the ease and simplicity that have defined it.
