Chanel Celebrated the U.S. Debut of Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu

The timeless brand toasted to their new fragrance in Soho with a star-studded guest list
Few fashion houses have maintained as enduring a presence in the industry as CHANEL. Yet with its latest fragrance, COCO MADEMOISELLE CRUSH ABSOLU, the House introduces a new sense of boldness to its iconic fragrance line. The face of the fragrance is none other than Grammy®-nominated singer-songwriter and House Ambassador Gracie Abrams. Created by CHANEL in-house Perfumer-Creator Olivier Polge, the new eau de parfum, much like Abrams herself, embodies a heightened expression of femininity: sensual, sophisticated, and unmistakably CHANEL.
Following the global launch of COCO MADEMOISELLE CRUSH ABSOLU on August 19, CHANEL officially welcomed the fragrance to the United States with an intimate celebration on September 10 at Balthazar, one of New York City’s most iconic French restaurants. The evening brought together creatives from across the worlds of fashion, music, film, and comedy, creating a guest list as magnetic and dynamic as the new scent itself.
DJ Kitty Ca$h set the tone for the night before indie-rock band Balu Brigada took the stage for a surprise performance, adding an electric note to an evening defined by music, fashion, and fragrance.
Throughout the evening, CHANEL’s guests were introduced to COCO MADEMOISELLE CRUSH ABSOLU through an immersive olfactory experience, offering a first glimpse of the Parisian café pop-up that opened on September 11 in New York’s Meatpacking District. The experience will run during select hours at 873 Washington Street through September 20, inviting the public to step into the atmospheric world of CRUSH ABSOLU as well.
In true CHANEL fashion, the U.S. launch has turned fragrance into an occasion, from the glamorous New York debut to the immersive café takeover, elevating the product from a scent into an experience. And just like that, CRUSH ABSOLU ushers COCO MADEMOISELLE into a new chapter of allure, elegance, and creative expression.
