Kévin Germanier Brings His Beadwork to Guerlain’s Holiday 2026 Collection

The Swiss designer translated his colorful beadwork into makeup cases and gift packaging for Guerlain’s holiday 2026 collection.
Guerlain’s holiday 2026 collaboration with Kévin Germanier brought the Swiss designer’s couture beadwork to makeup cases and gift packaging. Known for his use of upcycled materials, Germanier incorporated colored crystals and sculptural embellishments throughout the collection, including on the house’s advent calendar. Wrapped in midnight blue velvet and finished with a crystal-set G clasp, the calendar held 25 items spanning fragrance, skincare, makeup, and home scent, with miniature Shalimar and L’Heure Bleue perfumes among them. Designed to live beyond the holidays, the case could be repurposed as a jewelry box once emptied.

Rouge G and Météorites prestige editions drew inspiration from a fireworks-like dress in Germanier’s Spring/Summer 2025 couture collection, Les Globuleuses. Colored beads covered both cases, while the Météorites brush was finished with a matching rosette. The celebratory palette carried through to Terracotta, where a gold, rose gold, and fuchsia starburst was topped with a shimmer spray that disappeared with the first brushstroke. A matte red Rouge G lipstick with a glittering finish and the fuchsia Spotlight KissKiss Bee Glow Oil extended the collection’s sparkle.

L’Heure Bleue brought Guerlain’s fragrance history into the holiday offering, with Delphine Jelk revisiting Jacques Guerlain’s 1912 creation through notes of iris, orange blossom, and vanilla. The original, meanwhile, remained part of the house’s Légendaires collection.
The fragrance’s blue-hour inspiration carried over into Rouge G’s refillable Bleu Astral case, finished with graduated blue rhinestones. That same palette ran through the makeup and gift packaging, creating a common backdrop for Germanier’s colorful beadwork throughout the collaboration.
