Josh Landau Is “Stolen Nova” Personified

The musical artist tells all about his upcoming project
VMAN got the chance to shoot with and interview Los Angeles-born musical artist, Josh Landau. Landau was the long-time frontman and guitarist for punk band The Shrine. Since the pandemic, the artist has taken on a solo project, Stolen Nova, which blends the rock Landau knows well with a synth-pop sound that is psychedelic, modern, and nostalgic all at once.
With Stolen Nova, Landau enters a new chapter of his musical career, one that embraces experimentation without abandoning the raw energy that first defined his sound. Drawing on the rebellious spirit of rock and the hypnotic allure of electronic music, he has carved out a sonic identity that feels entirely his own. The result is an artist unafraid to blur genres, challenge expectations, and reinvent himself along the way.
