It’s Pride Month, and corporations across the country are readily embracing the celebratory four weeks. Though it’s nearly impossible to walk past a franchise storefront without seeing some kind of rainbow display, companies who support the cause year-round are few and far between. Yet the emergence of gender-neutral beauty brands marks a shift toward authentic advocacy.

Check out our round-up of five rising gender-neutral focused beauty brands you should know below!

  1. Fluide

According to the brand’s website, Fluide is “a collection of colorful, cruelty-free makeup for all gender expressions, gender identities and skin tones.” Fluide carries substance to back up its talk; five percent of the brand’s profits are donated to the Sylvia Rivera Law Project and LGBTQ+ health center Callen-Lorde. Prices ranging from $12 to $35 are just the icing on the cake.

  1. JECCA Makeup

London-based makeup artist Jessica Blackler founded JECCA after receiving an overwhelming number of requests from transgender people for makeup tips. Though JECCA can be used for anyone, products like its Correct and Conceal Palette, which was formulated to hide facial hair shadows, were created with the trans consumer in mind. The brand is cruelty free and vegan, with 5 percent of profits being donated to Stonewall, a UK LGBTQ+ advocacy group.

  1. Non Gender Specific

As its name would imply, this beauty brand aims to offer quality skincare products to individuals of all gender identities. Its debut product, the Everything Serum, combats skin conditions from wrinkles to hyper-pigmentation through an all-natural formula (think grape seed oil, vitamin E, and algae extract). In addition to its inclusivity, recycled packaging and low impact manufacturing processes set NGS apart from the skincare masses.

  1. Sam Farmer

Another major player in the gender-neutral skincare scene is the UK’s Sam Farmer. According to his website, Farmer was inspired to create his eponymous line of hygiene essentials after seeing the contrasting ways brands catered to his son and daughter. Farmer’s line includes face wash, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, moisturizer, and deodorant devised specifically for the adolescent crowd.

  1. Panacea

Great news for all our non-conforming K beauty enthusiasts: Panacea is here to satisfy your needs without breaking your bank account. Its cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF are formulated for daily use with simple and effective ingredients, per the Korean philosophy. And with all three products clocking in at under 3 ounces, you’ll never have to worry about ditching your essentials at airport security.
