eight – IU ft. Suga
Singer-songwriter IU collaborated with rapper Suga of BTS to release this song that has a feel-good pop form. The song features airy synths, guitar, and piano instrumentals to give it an OST feel. IU starts off the song with her delicate and emotional vocals before Suga joins in the second verse to deliver his characteristic rap. It gives nostalgic vibes that, according to IU, are the confession of a 28-year-old.
How You Like That – BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK’s comeback song after their year-long hiatus was an instant hit that broke several YouTube records. It garnered 86.3 million views in its first twenty-four hours, topping BTS’s previous record of 74.6 million views for Boy With Luv. The song gives a hopeful message to motivate people going through dark and challenging times to have enough strength and confidence to rise again.
