Francesco Ragazzi evokes the feelings of a vintage store with his latest 8 Moncler Palm Angels Collection. Elevating materials, textures, details and feel of the pieces within the collection, the Italian designer brings together seamlessly different elements, allowing them to coexist and magically come together as one to create an exceptional classic Moncler Palm Angels collection.

The collection is essential as the weather gets icier, featuring puffer jackets and vests, cardigan, jumpers, tracksuits and sherpa hats.

The Moncler logo has been refashioned for this collection, featuring a laidback palm above the word Moncler, replacing the cockerel emblem. This refashioning signifies “spontaneous reshuffling,” as Ragazzi applies unique personal elements to traditional pieces. For example, the puffers within the collection are cropped and some feature askew buttons. Bold colors including orange, yellow, baby pink, teal and red are offered for the puffers, along with traditional black and white colorways, made entirely of sustainable satin. A fleece jacket with paisley-bandana details offers a different texture for the beloved puffer. 

Hawaiian and terrain print shirts grow in length as long as a coat and have padding within, resembling outerwear ideal for layering. 

Accessories also have their moment, featuring multiple types of bags, a beanie, fleece hat and shoes. Jacquard canvas totes, weekend holdalls, and padded totes make up the bags of the collection, in which some can also be styled around the hips in a to-go fashion with their sleeve-like straps. 

Adhering to a commitment to sustainability, the entire collection is made with eco-friendly materials. Low impact materials featured include ECONYL® – a regenerated nylon derived from ocean and land-based waste – organic cotton and recycled polyester, and buttons and zippers that are made with recycled metal and brass.

To celebrate the launch, a party was held at Faena Forum in Miami Beach. Titled “ENTERGALACTIC,” the party was hosted by Kid Cudi and Richie Akiva, featuring DJ sets by Venus X, D33J, Honey, Zack Bia, Daniel Chetrit, Dza and Pedro.
