A Britney Spears and Elton John Duet is Coming

It’s Britney (and Elton) B*tch.

Britney’s back, with the summer’s hottest new duet that we never knew we needed.

As Page Six first reported, the “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer is making her official comeback to music with a collaboration with the one and only Elton John. The pair reportedly recorded a duet of John’s 1972 hit “Tiny Dancer” in Los Angeles last month.

The song, which is being produced by Andrew Watt (Justin Bieber, Pearl Jam, Miley Cyrus, etc.) is slated for release next month under Universal Music. It will be Spears’ first new release following November’s termination of her 13-year conservatorship, which spurred the global #FreeBritney moment. It will also be her first new release since 2016’s Glory album.

News of the duet comes days after Spears posted photos of herself and new husband Sam Asghari hanging out with actor Taron Egerton, who played John in his 2019 biopic Rocketman.

Spears has long been teasing a return to music, but most recently got fans exited when she posted a video singing a remixed version of her 1998 hit, “…Baby One More Time,” earlier this month.

The new iteration of “Tiny Dancer” has yet to receive an official release date.
