To Haider Ackermann, hot and heavy is the movement. Having spent the previous evening hidden in the clubs and crevices of a hedonistic night out, the Creative Director’s latest collection is that earth-shattering, first step out the morning after.

With walls bathed in gray and mirrors bearing the steamy traces of the night before, Tom Ford’s Autumn Winter 2025 Collection unfurled. Mimicking the chambres privées of clubs — spaces rendered fashionably restrictive — the brand immediately tempts viewers with the promise of exclusivity.

Models flaunt a bold lip, relentlessly forward and endlessly kissed. Biker jackets, tailored suits, and trailing trench coats are impeccably cut, direct lines emphasized by slick fabrics swathed in ultra black.

Androgynous silhouettes build on the House’s traditional palette of minimalist tones, bursts of blood red, baby blue, and shamrock green scattered throughout. The paradox of a floor length gown interrupted by a thigh-high slit enters the designer’s arena, and structured suits are softened by textures reminiscent of ruffled feathers.

Bright pastels are fresh and uplifting, their vivid hues glistening on the eyes as powdery eyeshadows, while Ackermann turns decoration into architectural shape, a form that complements the body and ensures all that’s unnecessary is left behind.
In accordance with Tom Ford, unattainability fuels desire. Distance has allure baked into it, and, in the world of lust, calculated restraint functions as bait. Will you bite?
