A Greta Thunberg Documentary Will Premiere in 2020
The Hulu doc will follow Greta’s rise to international fame.
Climate change activist Greta Thunberg will be the subject of a 2020 documentary with the working title of Greta. The documentary will premiere on Hulu and will be centered around Greta’s journey to becoming an icon of environmentalism, following her through her 2018 school strike to her more recent accomplishments.
The documentary is well-timed. Thunberg was just named TIME’s Person of the Year for 2019. She’s garnered hate from Donald Trump, who recently tweeted for her to “chill,” to which she responded by changing her Twitter bio to reference the tweet. Trump’s tweet drew much controversy, with many critiquing Trump for verbally attacking a child.

In the past year, the 16-year-old also drew attention for sailing to New York to attend the UN Climate Action Summit. She’s attended numerous other UN meetings as well.
