A Look at the Alexander McQueen S/S 2020 Campaign

Amidst the distressed wood of a beach house, the Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2020 campaign is gentle with hints of boldness.

Pristinely set inside a saltwater eroded beach house, the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2020 campaign is delicate and chic, but not without bold tailoring. Intricate crochet found its way onto cream dresses and two-piece suits, and dresses made of gentle fabric got a victorian flair with giant sleeves.

“Each look tells its own story. The connection between the clothes is the time it took to make them. I was interested in clarity and paring things down, in the essence of garment–stripping back to the toile. I love the idea of people having the time to make things together, the time to meet and talk together, the time to reconnect with the world,” remarked creative director Sarah Burton on the campaign.
