A New Day in Design: Sacai Redefines the Everyday
Sacai’s latest collection invites us to reimagine the rhythm of our daily lives, where hybrid tuxedo jackets and sculptural sleeves turn routine into ritual.

In a world where fashion often demands reinvention for reinvention’s sake, Sacai returns with a more grounding reminder: The core of who we are is the message for today. And with that, the brand delivers a collection imprinted not in spectacle, but in the sublime complexity of everyday life.

Sacai’s signature design language, hybridity, has always reflected something more poignant than solely a technique. Rather, it’s a philosophy. This season, that philosophy reaches new heights with garments designed to shift comfortably from one moment to the next, from morning light to evening dusk. The cotton cashmere tuxedo jackets and trousers form the heart of the collection, but they are far from traditional. Each piece feels like a living organism, layers folding into layers, sleeves that stretch and drape with unexpected softness, silhouettes that flirt with both the structured and the abstract.

At the center is Chitose Abe’s uncanny ability to harmonize the contradictory. Masculine and feminine, casual and formal, symmetrical and playfully skewed. All fuse into garments that feel deeply familiar yet bracingly new. A tucked voluminous sleeve becomes a sculptural moment. A vertical fall of fabric whispers femininity overlaid with structure.

That creative dialogue expands through collaborations with Carhartt WIP and J.M. Weston, where workwear and heritage meet Sacai’s sculptural DNA. LA-based artist Geoff McFetridge lends his visual voice to the story, reflecting the collection’s essence: WE SEE THE DAY – a simple, profound mantra reminding us that the mundane can be miraculous.
Sacai isn’t just dressing the everyday. It’s redefining what the everyday can be.
