A Night Out with WHENSMOKECLEARS

Take a look at the interactive NYFW presentation complete with personalized accessories and an exclusive featured performer.

If you haven’t heard of WHENSMOKECLEARS, you have some catching up to do. As seen on Lil Baby, Tyga, and King Combs (to name a few), the luxury brand is riding out its sixth year on a NYFW high, welcoming the new season with reimagined nightlife experience “Night Class” at Public Hotels’ Bar Chrystie. Starting with a performance from musical artist Kinida—known for her elaborate “Lamp Lady” ensemble designed by none other than the brand itself—the night was a celebration of creativity from the artist’s embellished lampshade to the customized workshops that followed.

Led by footwear creative Andy Martinez, WHENSMOKECLEARS co-founder Thermal Taveras, and Tyanna Dove, guests had the chance to personalize their own brand favorites, from shoes and bucket hats to jewelry and keychains. To the beats of Halfmoon DJ’s Sounds of Reality and Zillion, workstations bustled with conversation and spirit—an unspoken power of nightlife to fuel artist relationships without constraint.

“We’re so glad we got to share one of the most immersive experiences we’ve curated in NYC with such a creative crowd,” the brand shares on their official Instagram. Coining their night and SS23 collection both visual and experiential approaches to communication without boundary, WHENSMOKECLEARS leaves us with only one question: What’s coming next, and how do V get there?
