A Star-Studded Line-Up Joins The “Celebrating America” Inauguration Special

Tom Hanks, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, and many more will help herald the Biden/Harris era

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be stepping into the Oval Office with quite the bang. The 59th Presidential Inauguration Ceremony is slated to stretch on for five days of events, culminating in the “Celebrating America” Primetime Special on January 20.

Tom Hanks is scheduled to host the 90 minute primetime program next week, which will see President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris assume their roles in the White House. The program will feature remarks from both Biden and Harris, as well as other important figures celebrating the country.

Several musicians are also in line to perform during the special. The National Anthem will be sung by Lady Gaga, while Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake, and Demi Lovato, among others, will have musical interlude performances as part of the massive celebration.

The five day event will feature a COVID-19 memorial day, commemorating the MLK day of service, and a concert titled “We the People” and will see many other celebrities make appearances as performers or speakers, including Eva Longoria, Kerry Washington, the Foo Fighters, and John Legend.

The inauguration specials will air on your local TV stations, but you can also catch them on the Biden Inauguration website or on their social media channels.
