Acne Studios Introduces the Musubi Bag Campaign

Acne Studios released a new interpretation of the iconic Musibi bag, this time photographed by American artist Talia Chetrit. The campaign comprises an intimate photographic series captured exclusively on male dancers’ bodies.

Washington-born and New York-based photographer Talia Chetrit often explores themes of intimacy and sexuality in her photography. For this project, Cherit focuses on the male nude, specifically two strong male dancers, as she felt they represented the figurative qualities in the bags. Captured on a 35mm camera, The contrasting skin and leather provide a provocative effect to symbolize the strength and structure of the Musabi bag.

Creative Director Jonny Johansson notes, “I have long admired the work of Talia Chetrit because she treats everything in a singular, very personal way. This project was her idea entirely – we just sent her some bags to photograph as she wished,” he says.
