Adidas Originals Takes Over Coachella Weekend One

The iconic sportswear brand dominated the desert as a symbol of creativity and individuality

There is never a shortage of fashion at Coachella, and this year, adidas took center stage. Returning to Coachella valley for their renowned music and arts festival as one of the official partners, adidas Originals adorned performers, influencers, and music-lovers alike.

Among the performers rocking adidas were BROCKHAMPTON and Grammy-nominated singer Amber Mark. BROCKHAMPTON donned custom varsity jackets, embellished with patches, the adidas’ Trefoil, and an embroidered quote that read “all good things must come to an end,” while Mark stunned in a red pair of adidas Originals’ Campus 80’s.

Designer and upcycler Sean Wotherspoon brought his own originality to the valley, as he customized 100 vintage archival adidas’ pieces. An ode to sustainability, Wotherspoon teamed up with Kerwin Frost to gift the exclusive pieces to adiClub icon members at the festival. At night, adidas surprised 1,000 members with a Coachella-themed track jacket, complete with the brand’s iconic three stripes.

Creative partners donning the brand included NCAA Volleyball finalist and content creator Marissa Hill, sports media personality Denise Jones, and transgender sustainability activist Corey Rae. The three stripes dominated Coachella valley as a symbol and celebration of originality and individual expression.
