In adidas Originals‘ Fall/Winter 2019 collection, designer Daniëlle Cathari brings the two eras together. The brand’s distinctive style was given a sophisticated edge that Cathari imagines being worn by individuals who call home their office.

Anyone who’s worked from home knows it’s hard to be productive in slept-in pajamas. On the other hand, getting completely done-up and dressed for work feels excessive and a bit ridiculous. Cathari’s collection is the perfect alternative to both—a guaranteed refresher that’s both comfortable and practical.

For her fourth adidas Originals collection, the Amsterdam-based designer made the line’s first unisex fits. Despite being unisex, the collection’s pieces fall on one extreme or the other: hyper-feminine or ultra-masculine. Somehow, the pieces work elegantly on women and men.

The deconstructed silhouettes featured in Cathari’s previous three collections continue in this latest one. Chic tailoring and a washed color palette make for a mature rendition of the classic streetwear style.
